A dark beer from the guys who brought you Fat Tire

Damn...this is a pretty good "budget' beer!  At $3.30 at your local supermarket...it's a steal! It's called 1554 "Enlightened Black Ale" and from the same guys who brought you Fat Tire.  1554 has a dry finish with characteristics of chocolate(yes, chocolate) and is a very smooth beer to sip on a hot summers night.  Not overly bitter for a beer so dark, has roasted malt flavors and fruity notes. Try it for yourself. I guarantee you'll be glad you tried it.
 

Time: Casio G-Shock GA100 1A1

This is the Casio G-Shock GA100 color 1A1 properly nicknamed the "DARKNIGHT". The entire watch is finished in matte black (like the batman costume) with white hands. What initially attracted me to this watch was that it was a G-Shock with a XL face, super clean detailing, and the ease of use. It's all the features you would expect in a basic G-Shock, but in a less cluttered body. Digital/Analog time, digital date, alarm, stopwatch, time in a variety of countries, waterproof, and shockproof. It's incredibly affordable at $97!!! I would compare the appearance of the GA100 to an expensive aviator watch such as the Bell and Ross which ranges in price from $3,000USD-$4,000.

Life on a budget

Hey guys. Life sucks without money, right? Inabilities to buy what you want to do or go where you want to go definitely sucks especially in this day of economic instability. I'm stuck in a similar situation being unemployed for two years and having to watch over two aging family members while searching for work.  Actually, I'm cool with having taking care of them. That's life and I have to make the best of a difficult situation.  I've always been one for awesome gear, eating great food and keeping up with the ever changing trends. Despite being out of work I've continued to enjoy purchasing awesome gear, enjoy life and manage to keep up with the trends...on a super tight budget. This is not a blog of how to live life on a budget, or how to live a millionaires lifestyle on a budget. Basically the idea behind this blog is to introduce unique lifestyle gear and offer budget conscious options for those suffering because of our miserable economic situation. Being on a tight budget doesn't mean that you have to settle on a mediocre lifestyle.  There are alternatives to enjoying life. Live life even with a tight wallet!
